Gregory Boreland, has been a part of the Adache design team since 1993. During this time, because of his experience and dedication, Mr. Boreland has become a Principal of the firm and Vice President of Interior Design. His past experience, with numerous award winning interior projects in the firm (from concept development to installation) affords him the ability to take the interior design studio into the next level. Mr. Boreland possesses an array of experience in the interior design profession that spans 30 years. His design experience covers hospitality, residential and commercial interior design, with varied styles ranging from contemporary to traditional within the United States, South America and the Caribbean.

NYDIA MARTINEZ

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Florida International University

Certifications: National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ)

Nydia brings over 15 years of experience in the architecture and interior design industry with projects varying from residential to hospitality and institutional (including education and health care). With over 5 years with the Adache team, she is proficient in all aspects of the interior design process including preliminary design, construction documents, specification of FF&E, procurement, and construction administration.

Dedicated, creative and enthusiastic, Nydia is constantly challenging herself to create design solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but functional. She is a great collaborator with members of the design team to ensure the quality of every project. Nydia has a keen eye for details and an excellent ability to interpret the needs of the client.

CATHERINE GAVINO

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Education: Master of Architecture, Florida International University
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Florida International University

Catherine brings a unique blend of creativity and analytical skill to her role as an Interior Designer. With a diverse range of responsibilities spanning concept design development, space planning, FFE selection, and producing detailed construction documents, she ensures that each project reflects both aesthetic appeal and functional excellence.

Catherine’s career path is uniquely enriched by her background in psychology. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and worked as a Behavioral Therapist before transitioning to design. She pursued a Master’s degree in Architecture from Florida International University (FIU), which equipped her with advanced skills in architectural and interior design. Catherine has worked on a diverse range of commercial projects including new office buildouts, healthcare facilities, and multi-family residences. Catherine integrates her understanding of human behavior with her design expertise to create functional and inspiring spaces.

In her spare time, she enjoys immersing herself in nature and engaging in plantscaping. She also loves helping friends and family with their design projects, showcasing her passion for creating inviting and functional spaces. Catherine’s multidisciplinary background and dedication to design ensure that she brings a thoughtful and well-rounded perspective to every project.

ALEXIS BROHMAN

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Education: Bachelor of Design in Interior Design, Magna Cum Laude, University of Florida

Alexis is a South Florida-based commercial and hospitality designer who launched her career in 2022 after earning her Bachelor in Design from the University of Florida. Driven by a passion for design, she enhances quality of life through innovative, detail-oriented solutions that align with a thorough understanding of her clients’ needs and expectations. Alexis has gained experience across a diverse range of projects, including restaurants, marinas, multi-family residences, and hotels. She skillfully balances standard guidelines with unique concepts to create distinctive interiors. Her design philosophy centers on balancing aesthetics, functionality, and wellness, while continually incorporating new technologies, materials, and ideas into her work.
